Galactica to Lose Major Character?

Sounds like BG is looking to shake things up with the "devastating loss of a much-loved character who is central to Galactica," according to an interview with producer David Weddle. "I imagine many fans will be outraged and screaming for our heads," he said. This show has never been about sitting on its laurels, as evidenced by last years' season finale, which surprised many by suddenly leaping forward with an ominous fade to black and a "One Year Later" title. The show keeps us guessing and is consistently one of the best on TV, but they might be gambling with their future if they kill off Adama, Starbuck or Apollo, the three main characters...

Cylon Attack!

Battlestar Galactica is back, filled with pulse-pounding action and almost unlimited amounts of dread and terror. Just watching the cyclons nuking the 12 human colonies from orbit was enough to interest me, and the dense writing, excellent acting and unresolved plotlines were enough to hook me. Things are brought up and then not mentioned again, the sign of a foreshadowed, well-plotted writing team that is planning ahead for twists aplenty. Keep up the good work, guys. And you're to be congratulated for the multiple strong female leads-that is rare on TV today. Watch BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Fridays at 10:00pm on the Sci-Fi Channel.
