TRANSFORMERS Playstation 2 Game Coming in May
The TRANSFORMERS Video game's website opens its virtual doors to promote the upcoming Playstation 2 release, slated to be available in May. According to Cinescape: "Atari Games has launched the website for its upcoming TRANSFORMERS video game, slated for release on the PlayStation 2 in just two months. Previously known as TRANSFORMERS: ARMADA, the game places you in the metal boots of either the heroic Autobots or the evil Decepticons in a war to control the future of both their home planet, Cybertron, as well as the fate of the Earth. Decepticon leader Megatron has created a new race of soldiers called the Decepticlones, overwhelming the Autobots in sheer number and ferocity. Autobot leader Optimus Prime counters by answering a signal from Earth annoucing the discovery of the long-lost Minicons, minature Autobots that want to join Cybertron's civil war. With the two robot factions now on Earth, the battle is on."
